The Museum of Foteviken has the following opening hours:The Viking Reserve of The Museum of Foteviken is open daily during the entire year. The year is however divided into different seasons:
The Viking Reserve is open during weekdays 10am to 4pm, April 25th - October 14th.
The Viking Reserve is open daily 10am to 4pm, June 4th - August 28th.During these periods a guided tour in The Viking Reserve is included in the entrance fee. These tours begin at 11.00am, 1pm and 2.30pm. During these opening hours the restaurant The Viking Inn is also open for the visitors.
During the other periods of the year, you can visit The Viking Reserve as an individual, free of charge. The houses are however usually closed. A group of visitors can make a reservation for a guided tour in The Viking Reserve during the entire year.
Most of the school activities and school teaching take place during spring and autumn. The schoolteachers are able to choose much different kind of school activities.
The Museum of Foteviken does not have any traditional museum exhibitions. You are however always welcome to visit us if you have any questions, an interest in maritime archaeology or old handicrafts etc. The research, development and administration departments are open weekdays 8.30am to 4.30pm during the entire.
The Youth hostel and the leisure cottages for hire are open during the entire year.

Children: 6-15 years old, 25 Sw. cr.
Families: (2 adults and 2 children) 150 Sw. cr.
Senior citizens: 50 Sw. cr.
