How to get to Foteviken

The Foteviken Viking Museum is located in northern Höllviken on the Falsterbo Peninsula in south-western Sweden.

By car

If you arrive by car from the north on Highway 100, take right in the first roundabout in north Höllviken. Follow the brown attraction road signs to the museum.

If you arrive by car from Trelleborg you take left on the coast road to Höllviken directly west of Trelleborg.

By bus / train

  • Region bus line 100 goes from Malmö central station to Höllviken.
  • Region bus line 300 goes from Hyllie station in Malmö to Höllviken.
  • Travellers by train from Copenhagen Airport get off at Hyllie station and take region bus line 300 toward Falsterbo.  
  • Travelers from Trelleborg take reigon bus line 181 directly to Höllviken, or line 146 to bus stop Vellinge Ă„ngar, where you change to bus line 100 or 300 toward Höllviken.
  • Travellers from Lund may take direct bus line 103 from Ideon Gateway to Höllviken. 

You get off at bus stop Höllviken Ă–stra Halörsvägen, the first bus stop in Höllviken from Vellinge. A pedestrian path (marked in red on the map above) leads to the museum by the beach of Höllviken. It is a roughly 10 minute walk.
